An Evening of Antiques with John Sandon

On 9th September, please join us for An Evening of Antiques with John Sandon. John will recall some of his most memorable, and valuable discoveries. Can you identify the oldest and most valuable antiques? John will bring a selection of special pieces and ask you all to pick out the best in a series of games and quizzes.

And hopefully, he will have some good news for somebody, as he identifies and values your favourite pots. Everyone is invited to bring along for valuation a treasured piece of porcelain, china, pottery or glass from your home. Just one piece per person, please.

John is one of the longest-serving experts on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, having joined the popular programme back in 1985. Although John has now retired as Bonhams’ director of ceramics and glass, he still represents the London auctioneers as a consultant participating in major valuations and special auctions. A prolific writer and popular lecturer, his enthusiasm means he can share his love of antiques with a large audience or when just meeting with collectors in their own homes.

We look forward to seeing you. All Saints Parish Room, Saturday 9th September at 7 30pm. Entry £6
