Shepherds Market 2019

The Committee of the Friends of All Saints Church would like to thank everyone who participated in any way with the Shepherd‘s Market on 7th December; all the stallholders, the local businesses who supported us, everyone who provided prizes, cakes and other produce and shepherd’s pies and finally the kitchen staff and all the others who helped in so many ways.

We would also like to thank the Mayor, Cllr. Marion Ring, who kindly came along to open the event and who took time to speak to all the helpers and stallholders and also had a chat with Father Christmas. This was very much appreciated. We thank Father Christmas too, and his elf for taking time out from their busy schedules to visit us.

Of course, this would all have counted for nothing if no one had turned up. So our grateful thanks also to everyone who came along to the Market, which proved to be very enjoyable and successful with a good turnout and raising over £1,300 for the funds to support the future maintenance of the church building.‘
