Staplehurst Bellringers Report May 2022
Staplehurst Bellringers Report May 2022
Congratulations to Staplehurst ringer Sallyann Barclay who recently celebrated 50 years’ membership of the Kent County Association of Change Ringers. Sallyann learnt to ring at Headcom before moving to Staplehurst when she got married in 1986. At the Association’s AGM on Easter Monday, she was presented with a certificate in recognition of her achievement. With a number of other members of our band approaching this milestone, you will appreciate our need to recruit a new generation of ringers at Staplehurst!
On the Early Spring Bank Holiday Monday, our ringers will be having their annual outing, after a gap of three years due to the pandemic. A report will appear in the June issue of the magazine. There is no additional ringing currently planned at Staplehurst during May other than for our normal practice and the Sunday morning service.
