The Charity for April 2026 – March 2027 – Kent Association for the Blind (KAB)
All Saints’ Church Staplehurst Charity for April 2026 – March 2027
Because our congregation has five members with severely impaired vision, and there are more in our village, we have chosen Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) as our Annual Charity.
KAB is a registered Charity which provides many services for the blind and partially sighted, both children and adults.
These include:
- EYE CLINIC Liaison Officers, based in hospitals.
- Getting Out and About and Mobility Training.
- Help With Gadgets for cooking, tea making, etc.
- Help with using Phones and Computers.
- 1-2-1 Guide Communicator Support.
- Befriending Services, Social Groups and Counselling.
Should anyone wish to contact KAB for help, their telephone number is 01622 691357, option 1.
How to give to our Annual Charity is listed below.
Many of you have personal charities which you support, but please give as generously as you can to KAB.
Please give as generously as you are able.
Monthly Donations May Be Given In:
