LEGO® Festival 26th September 2026

A celebration of creativity, imagination, and community at All Saints Church, Staplehurst

The second Friends of All Saints LEGO® Festival took place at All Saints Church, Staplehurst, on 26 September 2026, bringing together builders, families, and visitors for a colourful celebration of creativity. The festival welcomed twenty-eight exhibitors and builders, eight more displays than in 2025, making this year’s event even bigger and more varied.

Something for everyone

We welcomed 28 exhibitors/builders, an increase of 8 displays over 2025, which was very encouraging. This year we also included a Speed Build Challenge, a Mini-Build Adventure Trail, and there was a demonstration of stop-motion animation with LEGO®.

Visitors were treated to an impressive range of models, from intricate kit-built landmarks and familiar film and television creations to imaginative original designs by younger builders. Alongside the displays, the festival introduced several new activities, including a Speed Build Challenge, a Mini-Build Adventure Trail and a demonstration of stop-motion animation using LEGO®. The ever-popular box of spare bricks returned in an expanded LEGO® Play Zone in St George’s Chapel, giving children plenty of room to create their own models.

2026 LEGO® Festival Build 15: A River and Waterfall – Winner in the 11 Years and Under category

The winning models reflected the wonderful breadth of talent on display, from playful vehicles and natural landscapes to local architecture and an ambitious fantasy diorama. The children’s original creations were a particular highlight, demonstrating imagination, storytelling, and confident building skills.

Mini-Build Adventure Trail

Our Mini‑Build Adventure Trail featured eight LEGO® Mini‑Builds placed around the Church for children to discover. As they found each build, they collected a letter. Once all eight letters were gathered, the challenge was to rearrange them to reveal a hidden message. Ultimately, the letters formed the two‑word English translation of the Danish phrase leg godt. The final answer was: Play Well.

A successful community event

The growth in exhibitors, the enthusiasm for the new activities and the creativity shown throughout the church made the 2026 festival a memorable success. The Friends of All Saints are grateful to everyone who displayed a model, took part in a challenge, helped organise the day or came along to support the event.
Several entrants have already shown an interest in attending the event in 2027, with some talking of finding some Vintage sets to display, no doubt spurred on by build number 17, a set some 40 years old
