VE Day 75th Anniversary Commemoration
VE Day 75th Anniversary Commemoration
The Act of Commemoration marked the occasion as an essential reminder
that others fought and lost their life’s for us so that we keep the peace. Six
long years and the consequences lasted a life time. We squabble after a
two month long down that we can’t get what we want and critic lockdown
measures. VE 75 Day commemoration and celebration is a stark reminder
that our tasks, as the next generation, is to care for humanity, to prevent
hatred of one nation against another and to work together for the
common good.
Victory in Europe is celebrated Europe wide and Germany celebrates the
end of Nazi occupation.
As you can see in the picture we were virtually in the building church, but
we were also in the neighbourhood. With the help of Debbie and Andrew
Brady who zoomed their neighbour, Ray Mann who marked the 2-minute silence ceremonially and dipped the standard. Who says you can’t be in two places at the same time?
It was very moving. Thank you to Tony and Mary Henley for operating the
zoom controls and Debbie and Andrew zooming Ray in and to all who took
part.
RAY MANN THANK YOU!!!!
