Read the story of The Wise Men in Matthew Chapter 2.

The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfullness, gentleness and self-control.

Galations Chapter 5 verse 22.

The Lord said “Do not be afraid for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name, you are mine”.

Isaiah Chapter 43 verse 1

God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son.

There is nothing in all creation that can sepearte us from the love of God in Jesus Christ our Lord..

Ephesians Chapter 28 verse 39

Prayers

God of day and night, of frost and sunshine, of rest and growth. We praise You for the rhytyms and patterns of life:

For the gentle dying of each season and the coming of the next. We praise You for the wonder of new life in all its forms, and the quiet flowing of youth age. Give us eyes and hearts to percieve You in the unfolding of our years. Help us in the new born year to make space for You, the giver of all. Amen.

For all the possibilities, ahead in this new year, make us thankfull, O Lord. Give us wisdom, courage and discernment when we are faced by fear or despair. Help us to aee how, in our circumstances, we can contribute towards peace, faith and love, and give us the will to translate our desires into actions. Brother John Charles. SSF.
