The Charity we are currently supporting is Square Pegs Arts. Square Pegs Arts is an award-winning Charity that runs drama & arts-based activities for children, young people and adults who have learning disabilities, autism, social communication difficulties or who struggle to fit in with mainstream activities. We have been successfully running regular drama groups, a singing group, theatre trips, theatrical productions, film projects and various other creative activities in Kent & Medway for over 12 years.
We use drama, music, movement and other creative methods to develop confidence, self-esteem, communication skills & well-being. We celebrate differences, nurture friendships and create supportive & caring environments where everyone feels valued, respected and feel a sense of belonging. We support our young people to fulfil their potential and shine as individuals, whilst being part of the Square Pegs community.
We have a strong volunteering programme of young, adult and learning-disabled volunteers to whom we offer training and development opportunities and who are integral to our programme of work.
