January 2025 Magazine Letter

Dear Everyone,

We are so fortunate that our Tower Star was able to be put in place ready to shine out throughout Advent and on until Epiphany. We celebrate the arrival of the Wise Men on 6h January with their gifts for Jesus. The star is then taken down.

Many people, even those who do not live in the village, look out for the star as they journey around.

My Grandchildren each have a star named after them. I cannot remember how it was done, but I expect it can be found online.

Each of us has a star to follow. It shines brightly for us as we go about our daily lives. We may not see it, but it is there to guide us as we use the gifts God gave us for our life on this earth. Sometimes our star may not seem so bright. We may go through difficult times, through perhaps sickness, relationships, or hardship. However, it is always there leading us to better times. We need to look up and outwards, giving thanks for all that is good in our lives and praying to God for help to cope with the difficulties we meet.

Oh, I did not say, the star you follow also has another name on it … it is Jesus. Jesus upholds through the good times and the bad. Lean on him.

A Happy New Year, and God bless us always and in all ways.

Audrey
