Grief Café

1st Sunday of the month Adults only.

The Grief Café meets monthly from 3 pm to 4 pm in the Parish Room.

3rd Sunday of the month Adults, Children & Young people.

Whether you experienced a bereavement recently or years ago, having the right support, knowing you are not alone in your grieving and learning coping strategies to help yourself in your grief is an essential part of healing around loss.

My name is Becca Worthington, and I am a Grief and Life Coach and a trainee counsellor. My passion is supporting people to be able to find ways to live alongside their grief, and the Grief Café is here to do exactly that. It is here for anyone grieving a loss to talk, share, normalise your experience and find support.

Everyone experiences grief differently but standing together with people who understand and have had similar experiences can be a comfort and support as you find peace within your grief and ways to start living again.

Come along for a drink at the Grief Cafe and if you want to, join in our 6 sessions of informal discussions about different areas of grief and loss. I am offering short talks on grief and loss and a listening ear, as well as bringing together a community of people who can support each other, alongside the support of Revd Silke Tetzlaff.

Please note, that this is NOT a church led group.
