LEGO® Festival 27th September 2025

LEGO® Festival 27th September 2025

The Lego Festival was a huge success with 20 displays and 150 visitors, including many children. It was wonderful to see examples of children’s imagination, building unique models. The box of spare Lego was very popular, and there was a lovely hub-hub in the Church of children just enjoying themselves. The adult models tended to be from a kit, showing great patience in completing quite complicated buildings. A model of the Titanic, with over 9000 pieces, held a very personal story of the exhibitor’s Great Great Uncle, who was on the Titanic and survived. He was a crew member on the ship that manned a lift boat taking passengers to safety and survived himself.

See the Programme below for more details on the builds that were on display.

Lego Festival 2025 Programme

Visitors voted for their favourite in 4 age groups, and the results are as follows:

5 years and under Jake Bassett – Build No. 13
11 years and under Beth Hughes – Build No. 14
16 years and under Tyler Pengelly – Build No. 16
Over 16 Daniel Brady – Build No. 20

The event was a great success, not only helping with our fundraising but also as a community event. We have already pencilled in 26th September 2026 for next year’s event, as a lot of people said that if we did it again, they might exhibit builds, so that is very encouraging.
