Worship with All Saints Church Staplehurst, Kent – at home

Continuing Restrictions on Church Buildings.

Despite a slight lifting by the government of a few restrictions under lockdown, guidance from the Church of England remains the same:

Church buildings are to remain closed to minimise the spread of infection and to save lives.

In compliance with C of E advice, the same member from the Buildings and Grounds subcommittee enters the church and parish room for a weekly check. Daily checks are made to the exterior of the church building.

We are sorry that it is not possible to make the church available to individuals for private prayer yet. Please remind others that, especially at this time of year, the churchyard is a beautiful and comforting place to spend time with God.

Mary Henley Churchwarden

The Church of England has advised that Public Worship should be suspended until further notice: there will be no Sunday services or Wednesday morning communion held in church. Places of worship are to be closed.

All Saints Church continues to worship together, and to pray for our local community and the world.

A daily prayer booklet is available to download here, in the church porch or can be delivered to your home if you contact the parish office.

We encourage you to use this to pray together, from your own home. In the Rectory, Revd Silke Tetzlaff will be saying Morning Prayer at 9.30am and Evening Prayer at 5pm every Tuesday – Friday. Uploaded audio files of these services can be found on the website home page and the right hand side menu.

A Sunday morning worship service is led by the Rector at 9.30am.

These services are streamed please contact the church office for details of how to join in.

In all of this, we have three key aims:

Keeping people well

Keeping people praying

Keeping people connected
